The prices for tour packages, transportation, and excursions that are listed on our website apply to various group sizes. The price will rise if the tour, transfer, or package must be performed for just one passenger, who will be liable for covering all associated costs (guides, transportation, etc.).

 

  • What must I do to reserve a tour and receive confirmation of my booking?

A tour can be easily scheduled. All you have to do is get in touch with one of our agents using the means mentioned in question 2 above. With the assistance of one of our travel advisers, you may create a tour that will meet your preferences in terms of budget, number of days, and sites of interest after receiving a rapid answer describing your alternatives.   • Are there any additional fees for transactions made with a debit or credit card?

For credit card transactions, AbuSimbel Travel adds an extra 3%. MasterCard and Visa are accepted.

 

  • What will the deposit cost me, and how will I pay it?

The deposit is typically 25% of the total cost, however at busy times (mostly around Christmas and New Years), we demand a 50% deposit. Both direct bank transfers to AbuSimbel Travel and credit card payments for deposits are accepted. The tourist must get in touch with our offices to arrange a payment plan if they want to pay in installments.

 

  • Will I get a refund if I have to cancel my trip with Abu Simbel Travel?

Refund policies for AbuSimbel Travel are described in our Terms and Conditions. Depending on how far in advance we are informed of the cancellation, we may receive a partial return.
When making a hotel reservation, you will be informed about the cancellation policies.

If AbuSimbel Travel helped you reserve a shore excursion from a cruise ship but the ship is unable to dock due to bad weather or other unavoidable circumstances, you will receive a full refund for the money you paid in advance.

 

  • How can I apply for a visa?

 All travelers to Egypt must have a passport valid for 6 months after arrival and all foreigners without exception need a visa to enter the country. You can apply for a tourist visa at any Egyptian consulate or Embassy around the world. If you are from North America, Western Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Malaysia or Singapore, you can get the tourist visa upon arrival in Egypt. There is a bank counter before entering customs that sells them and it should only take a few minutes depending on the number of people.
